Three organizations specializing in teaching foreign language education, specifically from Poland, Slovenia and United Kingdom, have identified a shared problem when it comes to teaching English to seniors, that is the scarcity of practical English learning materials for the elderly. This is especially true when it comes to teaching seniors to use modern technology both in lessons and in life.
In response to this issue, they have united their efforts, expertise, and capabilities under the Erasmus+ program to execute the "Real Life Context – English for Seniors" project. The primary objective of this initiative is to craft innovative educational materials that enhance seniors' competencies in both English language acquisition and digital literacy.
The key goals of the project include:
•Developing cutting-edge intellectual products tailored for English language educators specializing in senior education.
• Elevating the fundamental competences of seniors in the realms of multilingualism (specifically English) and information and communication technology (ICT).
